Trying to keep my show animals calm before the show, I rub their ears and brush them off.
Deworming horses is very important to control parasite infestation. If this activity is not done it can cause weight loss and colic in horses. This is needed to be done at least once a month, in some conditions of the horses they may need to be done more than once a month if they are compacted full of worms.
I showed one of my market turkeys at the 2014 Tuscarawas County Fair. At Tuscarawas County
you are allowed only one market turkey to show at the fair. After the show the Small Animal
Committee members direct you to get your picture taken. The members keep track of how
many people got their picture taken that is what the number behind me is for. They take
pictures of the participants, so when they sell their animal the buyer gets a picture of the kid
they bought from.
